Our group of 5 had an EXCELLENT time on this excursion. They arranged to pick us up right at the cruise dock (Freedom of the Seas). They had an amazing rum punch included and allowed us to grab some beer beforehand and bring it aboard. They took us to some great snorkel spots that were more private and also provided us with large floats to get in the water and just relax. What an AMAZING day. If you are looking for a private getaway that’s completely tailored to you, you won’t be disappointed.

They were both so friendly and helpful with everything! Not to mention the punch – DELICIOUS! We cannot say enough great things about our experience on the Bama Breeze with Captain Wit! We booked a private 4 hour trip to get away from the crowds on our cruise ship. The day was exactly what we were hoping for! We visited a secluded bay for snorkeling, a private beach, and then he took us to another bay to snorkel to wrap up our trip. In the last bay there was a pizza sailboat, and it was amazing. Wit helped us order and brought us over to the pizza boat so we could check it out! It was so cool! Wit was so personable, knowledgeable about St. Thomas, and truly wanted to make the trip whatever we wanted it to be. We had a blast and it was the highlight of our cruise. Leading up to the trip the booking process was so easy. Working with Frank was a blast. They truly make it an experience you’ll never forget. We will definitely be back to St. Thomas and we’ll be booking the Bama Breeze when we’re there. Thank y’all for an amazing day!-Mandy H.-
We had a great time with our Captain, Wit. It was the perfect way to spend a day on/in the water away from thousands of people from the cruise ships. He personalized the whole experience for us. We went snorkeling in a great secluded spot and had a great time on a small quiet beach with just us. Definitely recommend this tour and our Captain Wit!

TripAdvisor review: Finntastic Tours & Charters USVI “Went out 12/26/19 for a half day morning charter with Matt as our captain. Enjoyed everything about it. My wife and 3 teen-20s- aged daughters agreed it was their favorite part of our cruise. Frank was a consummate host. Communication about time, costs, location for pickup, options to extend or modify trip all timely and clear. Boat was great, well stocked. Matt was a great guy, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled captain. Couldn’t complain about a thing. And definitely recommend you book a tour with these guys. We were on the RCCL Oasis. It was a very short easy walk to meet Matt and the boat, and SO nice to leave the crowd for a while.”
Great Captain and great snorkeling!
We had a great time with Matt. He is an excellent captain with his Masters license. We snorkeled in several places and saw lots of fish and turtles. He was quite a gentleman! It was raining when we finished our trip and he drove us back to our cruise dock. He had snacks, beer, soft drinks and rum punch available for us. Pick up is very convenient to the cruise dock. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Awesome half day excursion!
“We had an amazing time on this half-day excursion on Christmas Eve!! There were 4 of of us and plenty of room. Matt stocked the cooler with drinks and took us to a secluded local beach to see sea turtles! The beach was very calm, not crowded with tourists, and we saw several sea turtles poking their head out of the water for air!! We snorkeled for a bit, floated with our drinks and then headed back to the drop-off area. This would’ve been AWESOME as a full-day excursion. I wish it would’ve been available. Definitely would have liked to check out some of the other spots that Matt mentioned. But we had so much fun and Matt was a great captain!!”

Look no further!!! I spent a lot of time researching tours for our family of 6 for our one-day in port on St Thomas and am SO happy we found Finntastic-they we’re in fact fantastic! Owner Frank sent us all up front info including a map so when we docked we walked off the ship and found our charter easily-right next to a bar with super Pain Killers if you arrive a bit early!…then Capt Matt welcomed us on board to a boat stocked with drinks , rum punches, snacks and within 15 min he’d found us turtles to swim with!! My dream!! Amazing!!! Oh yeah and we saw tons of fish and a ray, and JK Rowling’s mega-yacht she purchased from J Depp and the coolest beach bar on Water Island!…Capt Matt is a prince among captains and he made sure we were doing exactly what we’d anticipated we’d be doing for the few hours we had-next time I’m booking a whole day charter for sure!-if you do too you won’t be disappointed-this tour is the epitome of an awesome day and time we’ll spent in St Thomas! Capt Frank and Matt thank you thank you thank you!!!
